They're 1440p GPU's actually while the 6800 series is 4K. Facts there for you.
Check out the benchmarks the 6600 nonXT can run 1440p well over 60FPS it's just not made for ultra settings with 1440p hence the price point.
I like to live in hope, but yeah, I got burnt. It was a Ubisoft subscription service thing so didn't spend more than £12 which I've cancelled now.
Got seriously bored half way through the game, I just couldn't deal with the same stuff over and over and over and over and over. Let's not even talk about the AI, just no.
Being released through the XCloud thing at a later date, until then enjoy Halo Wars or something.
CD Keys has it for £35.99. Cheapest I found.
@Kurt: Far Cry had ray tracing without DLSS and it showed. They limited it to low quality and minor implementation. Must have been a concession they had to make because the game was sponsored by AMD.
@Darth Marvin: I don't play at 4k I play at 1440p, this is a 1440p card. Anyway, the point is ray tracing without DLSS is hard work for any card so i was happy they included DLSS. I could improve performance by turning off RT and other settings but I was showing I was happy I could possibly play it with every setting maxed out thanks to DLSS being included.
lol, they shouldn't be jealous as I had to pay £600 for it from an online store, a 100% markup on the RRP almost. And for £600 it's not a good deal for this but it's the times we live in for now.
What's with the downvotes? It's the truth my card with need DLSS to run ray tracing, it's not as powerful as a 3070 or 3080 like the official specs recommend for quality RT.
Looks good, glad they included DLSS with ray tracing, means my 3060Ti should be enough to run ray tracing in all its glory. Will wait on benchmarks though.
They still have the license for the Premier League among other big leagues without the FIFA license.
Why should they have done it ages ago? You expect them to work on this game forever? They've done more than enough already. You're getting it for free from a mod, why moan?
The issue wasn't the memory cards it was the fact you were locked to their digital store only so got charged more than anyone else who could buy from a store. I remember them charging £30 for some old games you could buy second hand physically for less than £10.
I had one at launch, biggest waste of money ever. I soon realised I was paying more for new games digitally than retail stores were selling physical for. Also paying full price for older games that were selling second hand for next to nothing. Luckily I managed to sell it, worst purchase ever.
Why? So you can stick in under your bed for 10 years?
If it doesn't pass the audio out then isn't that muting it...???
October 21st it's out.
Well, it's in VR and I'm willing to pay and hopefully other devs will take note of the profit they get and do the same with their games. The Quest 2 needs games like this even if they're old it's still a new experience because VR. As long as the main game's there to experience I don't care.
^ You got lucky or you found a better way than me as I'm struggling.
@CankThinkOfAUsername: How have AMD abandoned anyone? Their Ryzen series CPU's are the best price/performance ratio CPU's out there, they completely shook up the CPU market with the Ryzen release and made Intel realise they need to be more competitive instead of charging insane amounts for their CPU's.
AMD have NOT abandoned anyone. They are now starting to scare NVidia with their GPU's. Granted their GPU's aren't as good as NVidia due to ray tracin...
