What's the worst then?
Terrible PC ports come out every year. I swear they rely on users to find fixes then implement said fixes into their patches.
We'll see. Until price is official and reviews show it's solid I can't say either way. Gonna be hard to compete against the deck and I love Valve but will happily invest in this if it's good enough.
So, according to a leak? Not official... Thought rumours weren't allowed on N4G?
If price and performance is right I'll defo be interested.
It's about the potential. You won't be saying that 5 or 10 years from now.
Games are more complex, yes, but development tools are more powerful to deal with that. Not an excuse when the tools and the manpower are there to do the job.
@Flawlessmic: Granted but when a 4090 is getting problems running this with the insane power that has there's something not right. It's a lack of effort I'm seeing through testing. EA have the budget to be thorough but they didn't.
Why is PC a problem? It's the most scalable unconstrained platform out there. This isn't about PC this is about releasing it too early to meet deadlines.
I'm betting on Russia approving next.
edit: actually no it's an American company so they will veto the vote.
Probably because big sites don't want to fall out with EA. A site posted a bad review of this game because performance issues and people on here moaned about it when the writer was clearly being truthful.
It's all about textures, that's all. The required amount is 8GB of VRAM to run it. You only need more if you want higher textures.
It's the textures that cause it. They've gone all out on texture work.
How do you enjoy a game if you're trying to finish it quick?
@ravens52: It's about honesty. Games are not cheap, any issues with performance should be taken into account. It's for the benefit of the consumer.
If a patch makes it better they should give reviewer said patch.
They've done their turn. It's everyone else's turn to try and beat them.
lol
Scoring a game down due to technical issues is actually an honest thing to do, commendable in fact. Sites ignore that all the time.
They're scoring it down because technical issues. I wish more sites would have the balls to do that instead of ignoring performance problems.
"Where's my physical ps4 ff pixel remaster at square."
Sorry but that just screams entitlement.
