@Tw1tch3D They make tons of profit off of ad placement. I don't think it's time to have paid subscription. I feel like it's not established enough yet. It still has tons of people not sold on it. Now that you have to pay to get decent quality video, those people that were on the fence are now gonna stay on the other side of the fence.
They all copy, that's why competition is a good thing. If One innovates, and the others benefit from that.
@Mounce Yes there is an established streaming service that YouTube provides. Youtube.com/live
No DRM, at least anymore, obviously not NSA, and obviously not a spy camera. I have a buddy that works in the Airforce, he's a military code translator. He was telling me how many forms you have to file to tap a single person's phone in the NSA (he works in an NSA building). It's incomprehensible to think how many different codes that the NSA would be breaking from their own rule book if they were to put spy cameras in your house.
@mewhy32 4-1? Where'd you get those numbers. Stop spewing stupid out of your mouth, everytime I see a post from you it makes me cringe.
I don't see why they would do this. That's like Youtube saying they will require a subscription fee. Even worse than that actually, because Twitch gets NO WHERE near the viewership that Youtube does.
What is the $ supposed to represent? That Microsoft wants money? If so, you should also say $ony. They both obviously do all of this for money. They're not just in this to provide you with games. It's a business. They're both, "something else", before they are gaming companies.
Microsoft is a software company first.
Sony is a consumer electronics co. first.
The timed content for those is huge, I feel like those 2 games are what everyone will be looking at. And Sony has the content for them.
With a new Generation, comes a craving for new IPs. It's only natural to want to switch everything up when you switch your console. No doubt, both Microsoft and Sony want to acquire new IPs to sell systems. That's the type of battle I like.
Fortnite looks cool, like some sort of third person tower defense game. I could be wrong about that. lol, but I want a AAA blow me away type game from Epic. I cannot wait until Saturday at 7pm est. If it is Rocket, then I hope Rocket is impressive.
FCC, isn't some crazy superhero like feat. When's the last time you saw something revealed and thought, "Oh! I hope this passes the FCC!". It's Microsoft, a multi Billion dollar company. They can pass the FCC just as easy as the bootleg Chinese mp4 players.
I just checked, it doesn't look like he's making any videos about this game. Probably because of what this article says.
I've been going through this same feeling lately. If we could just all talk about the games instead of defending or attacking consoles. NuetralXP is part of the worst of N4G. No matter what, he tries to get his 2 cents against Sony.
Reading what this article said made me even more excited to get my consoles. I'm ready to slap this on my big screen and get trapped in these worlds.
Youtube videos don't do them justice.
Evil within looks like an actual horror game. That's rare, but welcomed. I would love to get my hands on a good scary game for PS4.
The thing I'm wondering about is WHY is it taking so long?
Is there some sort of issue that is making this process harder for the FCC?
If so, will the problem end up at my house?
Hope not.
@zeal0us
In my opinion it's worse than being told you can't upload at all. It's insulting. It's like them saying, "You can advertise for us, but you won't get SHIT from it."
I really can't wait to use my Vita with the Ps4.. See if the latency is an issue or not. From what I saw at E3, it's slightly noticeable, kinda like GaiKai's in browser demos a while back.
@shutUPAndTakeMyMoney They do that for the youtube comments because there are so many people dead set on making them look bad now. It's obvious.
I find this repulsive. A game company so full of themselves that they target specifically youtube creators. The funny thing is this is hurting them more than helping them.
The free advertising from thousands of people playing your game on youtube equates to millions of dollars. Minecraft was basically hatched from youtube. Undoubtedly Minecraft would have never been as successful as it is now, without it.
Specs right now seem like they're switching up at every turn for MS. I honestly don't know what to expect.
@Elite24Gamer That link you provided has some of the best reading I've done since reveal.
Sheesh, this is a very surprising quote. I don't know who this Misterx is, but throughout that link he seems to know a lot about hardware.
"Misterx: Xbox One will be the better console at the end even in specs. It already has b...
