Dark Souls II is NOT better than Dark Souls.
When you install it, choose custom install to avoid the AVG bloatware...
Vanilla Dark Souls on the PC is not a "disaster!", especially with an Xbox controller. (keyboard and mouse is a joke, agreed). Sure, it only displays at 1280 x 720 resolution and plays at 30fps, but is still full of atmosphere and immersion.
