Indeed, cinema can get away with it thanks to extending screens, but that's not going to happen at home really. I don't mind the horizontal black bars, but it's something we've spent many years with and adjusted to. The same would likely be true of vertical ones after a few years.
You're right, it doesn't, I'm just saying that this is just another piece of an on going struggle for UK devs. It'll mean a lot of changes for pretty much every industry here too I bet.
They'll move again most likely, it's not uncommon for companies to chase the best tax deals and such. UK devs haven't had it easy for a long time, with various tax breaks being delayed etc.
16:9 will dominate for TV and most movies for a long while yet, but for gaming 21:9 is freaking awesome!
Looks like the 1800X is solid for 4K then, happy with my choice! Could maybe gone for 1700X tho, but moar power and all that.
Love those extra fan headers, really cool idea for an extra cooling boost when the temps go up!
So many awesome memories in there! I forgot about that Robocop game too, the digital voices were pretty cool for the time.
Awesome
Not at 4K, there was a mistake in the article, looks to have been fixed now though.
Haha, that's the 1080p chart repeated, the author must have got his charts mixed up :'D
Awesome, thank you.
Been testing this all night, so far so good :)
Have you seen this game in PCSX2 with the internal resolution cranked up! The game looks freaking awesome, I don't imagine it would take them much effort to scale it to a new format.
Unreleased hardware needs an explanation for not working properly now? wow.
Am I the only one here that knows that the original Xbox was the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast? #TheMoreYouKnow
Exactly, hardly a stretch to ask if we are able to backup our data.
I'm a writer for a major online publication, I review hardware and software on a daily basis for a living. I am self employed and relatively successful at what I do, and Sony didn't give me a PS4 either... boo f**king hoo.
I know the PR team at Sony, they're lovely people, did I ask them for a PS4? No, because if they had one, they would come to me an offer it.
I have saved a little extra cash for a couple of months to make sure I have the funds f...
times a million.
Not a chance, they had this at CES 2013 also. It's just a fkn demo PC.
Source: I was there, I work with Silverstone and review computer components for a living.
LG makes one, but it's something stupid like 110" and costs $90k, hardly consumer friendly lol
