12 of my friends did try it. they all agreed that kinect has no place in the gaming industry and likely end up like microsoft live vision camera that nobody really care.
don't be surprised if out of nowhere sony announce HS2. these guys are talking HS non-stop instead of Enslaved. who knows? they might be developing it right now as we troll/debate.

1. they will announce they will discontinue kinect
2. they will announce that users can finally sit while playing kinect
3. they will announce that they have reduced kinect lag significantly
majority of 360 games except halo and gears (not flop in sales but flop in gameplay) flopped.

microsoft is in so much hurt right now. it would be lessen if they just scrap it totally and rethink harder about their next plans.

i don't think lag can be eliminated. i guess this is just another microsoft press release to fool 360 owners.
if they can eliminate it, then fine. that's good news in general.
next trouble is allowing gamers to sit while playing.
open your eyes and stop denying the facts. from E3 until the last public show where 2 chinese girls are playing track and field. kinect does not work correctly.
that will apply to the new 360s, i mean there's no difference anyways.
well anything associated with kinect is an instant fail. lets just be honest here. now that microsoft is demoing it on public, with no celebreties and pre-recorded videos, people in general are now aware that it doesn't really work.
i saw a video yesterday about a kinect public demo. the 2 chinese female playing a track and field game. my god, so horrible its not even working. and some people claims its the camera flash. idi0ts! why microsoft even think of releasing that product if it will not pass different lighting conditions?

in my opinion, i think microsoft need xbox720 to challenge PS3. we have to understand that the 360 is not competing the PS3 but the PS2. so i think for 360 fans to experience true next-gen gaming, it has to be xbox720 or whatever microsoft will call it.
