MLB 08 the show. I've been looking for a baseball game that's very similar to High Heat Baseball 2004 for the pc. Graphics wasnt that great but damn the gameplay was good. High Heat was my favorite baseball series.
mlb 2k8 I think has better graphics (with inconstant frsmerates) but mlb 08 has better gameplay with smoother framerates. I don't like visual aids while pitching or batting and in mlb 08 I can turn off all visual aids but in mlb 2k8 you can't turn off all aids while pitching. I don't feel like mlb 08 the show is worth $60 since mlb 07 is very similar same with mlb 2k8. these titles are only worth $40 max. decisions, decisions. guys what should I get?
oh well. 8800 gtx was 2X performance of the 7800 gtx. 9800 gtx should be 2x 8800 gtx. guess I was dreaming. stupid ati, thats what happens with no competition. nvidia doesnt have to increase performance that much. come on ati where's your 8800 gtx killer. 3870 X2 still doesnt much match 8800gtx performance. grrrr!!

animations don't look that great and graphics are rather generic. are those slow downs intentional in the videos? I can make a better looking rpg from using neverwinter nights 2 toolset. actually im going to do that right now and compare screenshots to sacred 2
I play pc games more than I play console games. Im enjoying Neverwinter Nights 2, Crysis, Stalker, and Witcher. Of course having a $3000 machine helps too especially with Crysis. MMO and RTS will always be better on pc. Yes I have both xbox 360 and PS3. PS3 is my blue ray player and xbox 360 is my games not on pc yet machine.
CRAP!!! The first Gears of War blows it away. But no game can beat Crysis graphics. Crysis owns!!!!! hahahahahaha lol
it has no loading screens like they say. I love games with no loading screens during gameplay. Are those screen shots from xbox 360? PC should look better with higher rez

crysis is the game that proves you can still have beautiful graphics out of dx9. I do dx9 hack on crysis for very high settings and it's gorgous and runs faster than dx10 very high settings. sli doesn't like dx10. when the next xbox comes out I'm sure it will use dx10 then you will start to see what it can do but until then keep dreaming.
review I've ever read. All the guy said was that the graphics was good but everything else crap. Never ever let someone review a RPG that hates RPG! I question if this reviewer even played the game.
the show's graphics is good but no variety in weather. In mlb 08 its either clear sunny skies or clear night, no rain, no cloudy skies, no evening games where the sun is going down then transitions to night. that's just lazyiness from Sony. I like mlb 2k8 grafics better with real time dynamic lighting.
