One has 3rd party developers making most of the exclusives for them. The other is afraid they will lose millions if the invest in 10 or more 1st party new IP's.

Meh..
Dear Sony, it's time to revive Syphon Filter.

They will get the damage right and nothing else. lol!!

You haven't played Forza 6 obviously.

Forza games has settings to adjust the damage. It can not only be visual, but also effect you car's control and the wheels. I miss the days of Demolition Derby (PS1). That was one fun game. Wish someone would make a sequel already.

This is why a 2-3 TB HDD should be standard in these mid-gen game consoles. I'll have to get a 8 -12TB HDD for my XB1X then.

3158d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, that sounds about right. 10X as powerful as the XB1X and the PS4 Pro. lol!! Sony will be selling that console for $1000 if it is.

3159d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yes. Maybe SquareEnix, Atlus, Namco, Konami, Bandai, Temco, etc.. will also decide to go back to multiplat games again as well.

3159d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

@arijitfrens2006
and the XB1X. Their games will be on both and PC as usual.

3159d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

They were already multiplat from the beginning. Not sure what Sam Lake is talking about. Max Payne was on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, Android, iOS. That's not multiplat? Even Alan Wake was on XBox 360 and PC.

@Imp0ssibl3
Microsoft didn't burn them. They help fund, market & publish their game. Quantum Break was marketed very well. Wasn't Microsoft fault that the game turned out average. It's too bad all their games ...

I'm also interested in 3rd party games, which the Switch won't have much of at this point. Most of the 3rd party games they are getting are older PS4/XB1 Indie games like Bomberman, Shovel Knight, Binding of Isaac, etc... I'm still curious as to how Skyrim will run on the Switch. It's going to be downgraded severely.

Hhhmm.. I don't think so. I doubt games on Scorpio 2 will be running on the original XBox One. There will be a cutoff where developers will only make games that support one generation. You can't play XBox One games on the XBox 360, can you? The same thing will happen with Scorpio 2 & PS5 when they join the 9th generation. PS5 exclusive games probably won't run on the PS4. Same with Scorpio 2 games.

3159d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Exactly. If it was a Ryzen in there with a much better GPU, then yes, it would be next gen. The PS4 & Scorpio 2 will definitely be next gen. The Switch is next gen mainly because it's not associated with the Wii or Wii U. Its a completely different console hardware that is more powerful then last gen's Wii U. Nintendo's leading the 9th gen with over 4 million Switches sold.

@JaguarEvolved
It would still be too expensive. They would have ti include...

It'll still be one of the best looking games on a game console when it launches. Developers haven't even come close to tapping the power of these mid-gen systems yet.

Has Sony even told us how many PS4 Pro's have sold yet? I thought they announced it had sold over 1 million, awhile back, but I haven't seen any new numbers. I doubt Microsoft will provide any sales numbers for the XB1X either. Maybe right after launch, but that's about it.

3160d ago 7 agree2 disagreeView comment

Tell that to the Destiny 2 developers.

3160d ago 5 agree2 disagreeView comment

Ditto. Will be one of the first games I get for my XB1X.

@sinjonezp
Yeah.. no kidding. Trolls will be trolls though. I still want to try the game for myself.

I thought Nintendo had already killed the Wii U. They aren't manufacturing any more of them. They aren't being sold in the U.S. or Europe. I think they are only being sold in Japan still. I just want to get a few more games for it and I'm done.

I thought wear & tear was standard in every racing simulation game. Not sure why this is even news. This should have already been in the game by now anyway.
