maybe this is why the recent price hike in live, and the real reason for going so heavily into kinect and the casual market.. just to make a final hit tonne of money before they pull out of the console war..

agreed on the commando thing i haven't had this, ive been knifed through my bullets a few times but not commando lunged
and my leader boards stats are mest up, but my combat record tells my what my kills really are, only at like 600 but my TDM leaderboard says i have like almost 6000 kills :L
it wasnt bad early on in the day or late at night but at its peak it was pretty damn bad, dont worry guys im not hating on ps3(i think thats why i got disagrees) but yeah it was bad for a good few hours.. havent been back on today though, hopefully its died down and was just abit of an overload
now lets hope they fix the servers for PS3 because its laggy as hell :( i dunno if you 360 guys are having the same issue, but as it stands every game is stuttering with lag and the server even crumbled a little bit earlier and sent out tonnes of errors :/.. the party system is horrid, if the host backs out the only option is to "leave lobby without leader" and a bunch of other things..
i think they maybe under-estimated how many people would be playing on ps3 or ...

your both wrong the 44.5 million were calculated by SHIPPED to
sony and nintendo calculate sales by SOLD TO(which is based on how many units are purchased FROM retailers, not shipped to them)..
So although this article is not 100% correct its far closer to the factual sales than what you guys are stating..
Its more around 360 42million, ps3 41.2 million..
50% more you think so? LOL and the PC will sell more than the 360 ;) anything to help absorb the damage of your beloved console being outsold..

Thats because imo sony are very into provding quality.. they think 3D is good, they want to push it forward no matter if it requires help or another company pushing the same/similar tech.

They dont need to counter kinect, because sony are a pretty smart company they know no matter kinect is going to sell.. so let it..
They also know that next year the 360 has a pretty bad year for exclusives(non kinect games) meanwhile sony have alot..
So yeah leave kinect, let it launch, let it sell millions and even outsell the move.. then starting with GT5 start taking chunks out of the 360's armour..

500 million in marketing is extremely difficult, and its true kinect will probably outsell the move..
but by summer next year tell me the hardcore gaming fanbase for the 360 wont be bored with the lack of exclusives and stuff? its gonna do wonders for the 360 in short term, but the consoles dying out in other areas, this to me is the 360's last fight.. and by cutting out a huge part of your fanbase(the hardcore gamers) your only making...
microsoft is a huge company they dont even 'need' a game console or its sales to survive
