agreed, i did the campaign on veteran in like 7 hours, which is pretty disapointing
mw2 was great.. its biggest let down was the BS perks and how noob friendly it was..
if they just removed comando/painkiller one man army and made grenade launchers replace perk one like cod4 it would have been so much better from those fixes alone..
i'll keep my eye on this, but after mw2/blackops im not expecting much.. i'll wait until it releases and then if it has good reviews and friends say its ood then i'll get it.

actually i expected very little from blackops after the whole mw2 crap(i hyped myself for mw2).. and it still managed to disapoint me
even though the ps3 is outselling 360 in WORLDWIDE sales.. people seem to forget that
its defo worth it.
Yup its pretty generic overall, but it keeps the main thing which is its 'fun'. The weapon thing similar to counter strike is sweet. The maps are huge and probably laid out better than COD maps lol, and for its price the graphics are decent, i've seen full retail games that look and perform worse than this.
Also the hit detection is far better than black ops lol.

thing is we can still lend games to a friend with the ability to play on upto 5 consoles :).. and also if you "traded it in" to a game shop you could do still, aslong as you still have atleast one serial code for use left :)
i think this is a pretty smart move by sony, and it's also pretty funny that the hackers only just spotted this :L
some titles yes.. but on average no..
played a few hours of it and its really fun, but of course being $8 has a few flaws to, but its just straight 'fun' which is what alot of games lack now, simple gun v gun multiplayer.
I'm enjoying it, but when killzone comes out it'll probably never be touached again though.
But yeah for $8 its great :)

It wasn't taken out of context at all, the article clearly stated that the activision employee stated that they COULD take down the PSN servers, not that they would. Like i said in the other article though, i couldn't care less tbh.
This is talking about BlackOps?.. i havent seen any hacks for BO yet.
Hacks also have nothing to do with the game lagging, freezing consoles and in general being a garbage product.
please do activision, in fact make COD a 360 exclusive.. drop your support for the PS3 also. See what happens in 2 years when 360 is 90% kinect based and you have to either a) downgrade your game or b)release new ones that don't improve or have to use multiple discs.
I really don't care, im trading all the cods i own in on the day killzone 3 releases, getting cod4 for PC, and then getting homefront in march. Fact is COD(your product) sucks.
yeah i know, but they didn't mention the new perks or killstreaks that was noted below, and some comments suggested that it may cost more for the perks etc. :)
meh, they should make mark echo 2 for the ps3 move :P although this only uses paint, its not only all about painting, its a puzzle game

surely now this is proof to the diehard 360 fans/hardcore gamers of that platform that they don't care for you.. the casual market is all they care about now, sad but true :(

that's because these issues like public speed lobbies with unlimited ammo etc plagued mw2 on 360 like a few months after released and got patched..
They could easily make the games download the real game settings online between each game or as each map loads up to over-write the hacked game data..
i cant tell you all now this is bullshit.
These hacked lobbies plagued mw2/cod4 on the 360 a few months after mw2's release, and infinity ward patched them. There are still whats known as "challenge lobbies" on the 360 also.
Not only that before these ps3 hacks there was challenge lobbies on ps3 they just weren't as mainstream(on cod4 anyway), another thing after mw2 released there was a UFO hack on ps3(which was also before the jailbrea...
i say not only do what they're doing.. but get treyarch in on the job too..
treyarch do a great job of "balancing" the game, but they completely suck at making it look good or perform very well, theres always lag/connection issues with treyarchs games..
i still think they should cancel this years cod and take another 2 years, all work together and make a great game so we can ALL actually enjoy COD again..
