Thats true badkolo there are like 130 million PS2 owners. Where are they this gen? They all own Wii's that's where they are. Some of the hardcore went with the 360 which is why the Xbox install base is a little bigger this time around. Personally I feel that all the systems are doing just great. I think the PS3 has longer legs than the 360 do to Blu-ray but it may (MAY) not be enough to take them out of last. If/when the PS4 and Xbox 3 come out I might look into console gaming again b...
Being multiplatform creates more buzz causing more people to talk about it to friends or family. If it's hot on Xbox means it only caters to Xbox, but being hot on PS3, 360, and PC reaches a much larger audience. Plus all ads TV/Net/Mags showed mostly Xbox logo. You can also compare this to any game on the PS3 and PC and it outsold all games on all those platforms.

Well Gamestop is NA and NA is mostly 360 country. I went to Amsterdam about a year ago and game shops there promote PS3 more than 360. It just depends on where you live and just about everyone knows NA is Xbox and EU is Playstation.

IMO That goes to Half Life and Counter Strike on PC and Counter Strike is still used in tournaments today. Not to mention Doom, Doom 2, Wolfenstein, Blood 1&2, Delta Force (64 player mp in 1998) Unreal Tournament and Quake 1,2&3.
I built my own PC for about $450 and it's still 3 generations ahead of consoles.
You can get a PC to play Crysis and other games that are far superior for about the same price as a PS3/360.

Shadowrun, Bionic Commando, Dark Sector, Kane & Lynch, Force Unleashed and Infamous are all very underrated IMO. IF you load up Shaodwrun right now you will find thousands of people still playing.
