A lot of people want Linux back on the PS3
No amount of excuses or wishful thinking isn't going to take away from the fact that the PS3 is now hacked. Love it or hate it but it is out there and it does work. What is sad are the fanboys here that just assumed the PS3 was hack proof, well here is your proof that it isn't. Sony needs to get some control back, they won't stop them all but some is better than none. I just hope Sony doesn't lose software support over this.
I'll place my bet on the hackers any day, as you can see what was once impossible to hack is now hacked.
I have played all Call of Duty games and even the bad ones are better than most FPS that come out today.

Sounds to me like you're just pissed because you thought the news would be L4D going to the PS3.
This is truly a nightmare for Sony, software sales will most likely decline. The PS3 isn't exactly a software selling beast so this really hurts the gamer and the industry. At the end of the day a $160 USB hack isn't worth the price of a $350 PS3 and $10,000 to $100,000 in fines if you get caught.
It wont be long before you start to see knock off PS Jailbreak and youtube videos showing how to make your own. This is a nightmare for Sony, an easy exploit much like the PSP.

Just don't come here to N4G until the game is released because the Sony faithful will spoil the hell out of the game. You will see a thousand users with names that spoil the ending and they will spam every thread.
Can't have Fable 3 news without the nervous trolls. Fable 3 is looking good, maybe the first time Lionhead delivered on everything promised.
