The Forza build at E3 was a more polished game than the Driveclub build at E3 so of course it's going to look better at that time frame Duh.

I feel like everyone is indoctrined with this dogma that MS and Sony have to be even for the "greater good" of gaming and I'm like "What?" The gaming industry was around and doing just fine long before MS entered it. When Sega left the home console market Sony and Nintendo didnt just start jacking up prices just because there was less compitition.
Agreed, only good competitors bring good competition.
I'd feel more comfortable with Sony dominating than another "even" generation. This last gen was definitely the worst I have ever experienced yet the competition was there. So no, competition doesn't automatically mean "Good".

I think in a year or two the PS4 will start to show it's muscle over the X1 but I'm not sure if it will be as soon as the launch window but I would have no problem being wrong though :-)
This is about as bad as the other article who claimed that the X1 would have more people because of the power of "teh clouds". No where in the article did he state that the PS4 would have more "waves" and "wind" than the X1 version. The PS4 version will be superior regardless, no need to spin the words of developers.

The only relevant features you listed were XBL and XBLA. Netflix was on Xbox first because of a deal. These features dont out way the negative business practices that MS have brought upon the industry with their. Like pay to play online, putting services like netflix behind a paywall, faulty hardware, drm, limiting used game sales etc. Sega brought some innovations to the industry as well but it didn't justify some of their horrible decisions.
