Barely, PS4 and PSvita combined is beating all 3ds models and the WiiU combined and thats excluding the 3 other Sony products on the list.

Sonys efforts in this new generation alone is close to being worthy enough to be bestowed the title but I don't want to give Sony that title yet. If everything goes as planned for Sony and they pull of the Playstation eco system I think they are trying to pull off they will leave little to no room for competitors on the hardware side.
The PS4 is almost double the install base of the X1 and the X1 crowd is not even interested in these types of games. Sega would literally be wasting resources porting it over to the X1.
Its completely rational to assume this could be a Playstation exclusive.

Well that doesn't really detract from the amount your getting for only 50 dollars a year just means you buy all your games at launch.

Actually no its not since you can use netflix and play MMOS for free on PSN.
Sure not everyone will see value in PS+ and value is subject, but what is not subjective is the amount of money you save playing a huge amount of recent critical acclaimed games for "free" compared to the competition. That is not subjective and is cold hard facts. Now whether one sees more value paying 60 dollars a year to access services that are free else where is up to the individual.
