"Even in this "drought year" for MS, there are more exclusives on X1 that I "Must play" than on PS4."
I'm interested to know which ones
"It would still be the best place to play like 95% of games." That would be the PC sir.
Incoming: "But teh PC so hard to use" comments.
Remember when the launch Sku Xbox was 500? Didn't work out that great huh?
@XanderZane wishful thinking or you got a link to support claims?
"the Switch being the go to console for japanese role playing games."
SMMFH good thing the market place isn't dictated by your vision.
@Death
"That isn't much different then the PSVR exclusive games that aren't playable without the VR set though." Actually it is because the VR set itself for the Playstation 4 is available for both the base console and the pro. Nice try.
@Death "Of those Multiplat games, how many are retail and how many are digital or "indie" titles? If anyone is buying a Pro or Scorpio to play those games, they are throwing away money. Many people regard those games as shovelware." Do ou see how your statement applies to multiplats? Except on an even broader scale because alot of those games have no type of quality control because of no publisher or a non gaming related publisher.
Where did he mention sales? He attributed the PS2 being king for exclusives and pricepoint.
I like how you left exclusives out, not surprised.
@condemned so you're getting a PC?
It will matter to the hardcore Xbox fan base....someone like yourself. Outside of that it won't have much traction.
I was going to pre order the limited edition but it's exclusive to game stop? LMAO foh standard edition it is.
Rainbow Six Siege is the only decent mp game they released this gen, Probably can argue the only decent big budget game they released this gen in general. Just garbage offerings.
@gangsta_red "I have read that PS4Pro offers 1080p for shareplay and remote play. If that is true then Sony could bring that over to PSNow."
Once again....that is not how bandwidth works..
"But technically you don't need to own a PS4 to play PSNow games on your PC." But a PS4 is still involved in the process. Yes, Some ps4 exclusives are "available" to play on the PC but nowhere near in the same sense as say an xbox exclusive is available. ...
@Gangsta_red
"If remote and share play already has this option then I'm sure Sony could bring the same type of option to PSNow."
What options are you referring to sir?
"So it's agreed, by technicality, the games are available on PC, to play on PC."
Well by technicality those games are still running off of PS4s and the only thing that's on the PC is the video stream so your technically your not playing it on your PC so.....def...
@Starchild
1.Buy a used base model PS4 they are dirt cheap
2. Old Ps4 exclusives are dirt cheap
3. If you are investing in PSNow in the hopes that Sony will be launching games on it same day as retail than LMFAOOOO...you're setting yourself up for failure.
But like I said if you want to rent PS4 exclusives for 20 dollars a month and play them at 720p 30fps with laggy input than by all means, be my guest.
@Are you sure or are you hoping? Two different things.
"And if the PSNow service is available on PC, then that does mean their games are on PC."
By technicality, for example Horizon Zero Dawn is available on the PS vita because of remote play.
SOME is the key word here, the majority of PC gamers are not playing anything at 720p 30 frames let alone paying 20 a month for it. This is just garbage.
@Hendog1981 "You honestly think they have a whole bunch of ps4's set up so people can stream"
Uhmmm YES!! LMAOO!! Why the hell would Sony build a bunch of PCs that can run PS4 games that would end up costing more than a PS4....than just streaming them from a PS4.
@moldybread what is it about any of those titles that looks promising? I'm willing to be none of those titles will get anything above a 75 on metacritic.
