1) in a generation where most of the "young" gamers are playing COD I fail to see how Sony is not catering to everyone
2) Nintendo's dominance in the handheld department has mostly to do with
A) them being the only major gaming company to consistently make gaming handhelds since Mr. Game in watch
B) They have pretty much always have been the cheaper option...

@Knight_Crawler The Wii, IMHO, is a joke. Best selling console this gen yet the first one to have support dropped for it and the WiiU has not even launched yet. This tells me that the Wii was not designed to have a long life span. The Wii IMO was probably the most successful get rich quick schemes I have ever seen.

Nice try buddy but your analogy fails to include important variables like
A) though more powerful, the ps3 is harder to develop for. Thus inexperienced devs will have problems developing for it.
B) Bethsada can't make a with minimal bugs to save their lives. Let alone make it bug free on a console like the PS3
C) the WiiU has been rumored to be a breeze to develop for, so there should be no excuse for not making it 1080p if it's possible.
