I hate devs who play the politically correct role.
@micheal Silly goose when will you learn that making enough money to be "just fine" is not enough for a publisher like EA. Not to mention the PS4 is well on it's way to demolishing the Xbone in sales so you know Respawn is going to want a piece of that.
Have fun playing the botched drm versions.
A decent P.C can't even emulate PS3 and 360 games yet, what makes you think in 3 years time it will be able to emulate next gen games?
@Buzz7s The Xbox one requires an Internet connection every 24 hours correct? Do you know what constant means?
"and it's just a clone underneath."
You do realize that the creative director behind H-Hour was the creative director and the man responsible for the original Socom games right?
So how is this game being a "clone" of his original projects a negative?
"how bout just wait till Sony makes a new SOCOM for the 4."
Or, or, hear me out on this one, we can help this title be successful so that later on down the line he can get...
If you buy an Xbox one while having knowledge of the restrictions, you're punishing yourself.
"So if you were to buy Battlefield 4, you and you're best friend could play it together from other sides of the world off of one copy of the game"
Uh..did you read the article buddy? ONE AT A TIME!
"The only limitation, it seems, is that only one person can be playing the shared copy of a single game at any given time."
And you can do this on the PS4 except its not limited to ten people :-/. Why are Xbox fanatics getting over a feature ...
I know this is basic common sense but it is so refreshing to hear after all the lunacy that has been going on lately with the Xbox one.
Xbox one: no future, no hope.
Here is the thing about this fallacious argument, broadband was an improvement over dial up therefore as time went on it was only natural that dial up would eventually become irrelevant and devices would drop support for it. A console that requires a constant Internet connection is NOT an improvement over a console that does not. A console that does not require a Internet connection can operate as well or better when connected online as an always online console and still play games when not c...
I have not seen this feature listed on any fact sheets for the Xbox one, do you mind providing a link?
Lol Uh... no technically you have no disk version since once you install the game your disk is pretty much useless. And once you "trade" in your "disk" you lose the access to the digital version (which is the only version you technically get in the first place).
So happy about the inclusion of a training level, having to learn how to fly a jet and a helicopter during battle was a b****.
I don't mind it honestly, Kingdom hearts and FF15 is not really a taxing game processor wise and I'm pretty sure MS is rocking with Bluray this time so I don't really see how releasing it on the Xbone would botch the game. I doubt either game will sell on the console anyway so if Square wants to waste money on the port, fine by me but just don't make me wait another 7 years for the titles. Plus I'm pretty sure the PS4 version will look better and be DRM free so that's ...
It's funny to me how publishers like this douche complain saying "oh no, used games it hurts so bad that I can't double dip" yet they are the same devs that make 5 hour long campaigns, releasing broken products at launch and then wonder why the used game market is thriving so much. The Gaul of morons like this guy asking to double dip when they release products like the Gears of War 2 multiplayer.
You didn't even read the quote did you? If your going to be a consumer supporting anti consumer policies at least read the material that is supposedly backing your arguement smdh....
Oh, it was a joke alright, you just didn't intend it to be lol. Nice try though.
Good interview, I love how they tackle the pay to play online question head on. Makes me less weary of it stemming from greed. Plus Yoshida is a boss lol.
My playstation brethren, the time for history to repeat itself is here, the glory days of 70% market share will be upon us within these up coming months. The golden days of gaming is coming back.
