There is nothing gimmicky about VR, not in this day and age. Looking back on the Virtual Boy of '95, I could see how that was a gimmick, VR was nowhere near ready for the masses. But today, there is no way it's a gimmick. Just because a technology is in its early stages or hasn't been executed well does not make it a gimmick. Calling something a "gimmick" is just easy

The opening sentence gives it away "game of our dreams". People let their imaginations run wild, there were some valid gripes with the game, but people really didn't keep expectations realistic, I have had the game two months and through all my personal criticisms, I am still playing.
A damn shame that it has even reached this point. The reaction has been way overblown from the beginning, pretty much by people with overactive imaginations and those who wanted it to fail in the first place. The game is a solid game, both Sony and Hello should have stood by their product with persistence, f*** haters.
Enough with the Hello Games bias, the scale and experience they brought to No Man's Sky deserves praise, given the size of the development team. Go ahead and dislike my comment, but what is true is true, give credit where it's due. (Yeah, the rhyme wasn't intended)

Very smart words. I'm a Playstation fan through and through(still getting an Xbox though) but rather than worry about moving systems to fight an uphill battle. Focus on what matters most, the experience you can sell to your customers. I'm excited as a gamer to see what they can bring. I'm a gamer first, and Playstation fan 2nd
Haven't played much Horizon as I dont have an Xbox One yet, still playing Drive club, but I definitely still want Forza Horizon 3, hell, I still want Forza Horizon 2. I used to watch twitch streams for hours of Horizon

Pokemon Battle Revolution was pretty awesome, but we need another game like Pokemon Colosseum, with multiple regions to explore. Hoenn, Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh. Where we can traverse all those regions defeating their respective gym leaders and Elite Fours. With all pokemon available, all wrapped up with a pretty good story. Why has Nintendo not done this yet? That has triple A all over it. Could be a potential GOTY.
I thought the game was included for free when you buy PSVR?
