Because this is beyond what people like and dislike, a game like DmC is an insult, it's a cheap way of saying DMC2 remade, it's seriously worse than a game based on a movie or something, but yeah go ahead and 'succubus' me if you want.

Reviews are losing their credebility when the the new dmc is landing 9's and 10's with its shitty story, terrible animation and gameplay and a lot of chores shamelessly disguised as "platforming" while this gets these scores.
Not to mention how shitty the story is now.

A game series shouldn't try to revolutionize the gameplay and alienate the fans, it's a great gameplay and it defines GoW, and it should stay this way. Want different gameplay? Play another game. Look at Assassin's Creed, once you played AC2, the first game becomes more garbage than it already is because of what you're missing from the second.
At least they don't repeat the same story from each game and always com...

which is 4-5 moves per weapon that you can't switch between very well thanks to the dumb devil/angel idea and/or can't fight enemies with freely thanks to the restricted devil/angel crap.
Which are even not nearly as many moves as older DMC games nor are they as well executed (thanks for ruining the stinger)

Uncharted's storyline is badly written, the gameplay has nothing special, and all it ever boasts of is graphics. So no, Uncharted is undeserving of a 'competition'
Anniversay and Underworld were amazing. Even the smallest animal popping out is very exciting. And the levels were really beautiful. I haven't played Legend or that other light thing game that came out.
Don't know where "downhill" crap came from. If anything, the first few games after the original are the ones that sucked. But I guess people just like to hate on something for the sake of it.

Seeing how cliche the second game was, and how the 3rd was a total remake of the 2nd and nothing more, no. There was no life in it past the first game.
