I posted on both the BUNGIE forum and XBOX forums with my gamertag for this problem and I am not fan boy of Sony, or Microsoft, or XBOX 360, or HALO, and definately not VISTA (TDR/BSOD MS/NVIDIA ERRORS 9 months and counting!!)
I don't care about SONY (no reason, just never bought into PS1/2/3/PSP) & I never did the Nintendo thing (my friends did, I played theirs and they played my Sega Master System and Genesis, worked out well (Loved Contra too much :-) )

The problem affects certain XBOX360's. I have used 3 different copies of HALO 3, and they all have the same identical playback issues: slow loading of introduction movie, game levels, cut-scenes, game freezes lasting between 1-5 seconds, intermittent loss of audio sound effects, disc-read-errors/DRE, problems saving game/resuming saved game, et al.
Many people in the forums on XBOX and BUNGIE who have this problem have HALO 3 DVD's that are NOT scratched at all, and most of us...
