When MS announced the 3d update Sony announced there update in what 3-4 days afterward? That was a knee jerk reaction since Sony fans start to whine about not having the feature. Adding in preloading to the xbox one is from MS reacting to Sony but not in a knee jerk fashion since its coming months after Sony implemented the feature.
