The way I see this is PC only in Japan (its a growing market over there)
Multiplatform if it comes to the states.
Wow the console version looks pretty good for running on 2006 hardware.

Its not like Megaman Legends 3 or Megaman Universe where even AAA costing games though.
Also the fact they didnt release the $2 prototype to gauge interest is messed up too.

Here is the thing about bloom, the way it is currently implemented is bad over internet connection, in LAN games it is usually fine. That is why for most playlists it is getting a 15% reduction, it will still be there but just improved.
In classic playlists bloom will be gone and then there will also be Zero Bloom playlists too.
NOTE: These changes ONLY effect the precision weapons.

Well Bungie is no longer owned by Microsoft so who says they couldn't do 1 exclusive game ;D
It already does have cross platform play. 360 and PC users can play together on ShadowRun and other very few select titles. LIVE is free on the PC and that is how its staying for the foreseeable future.

Thats EA mostly throwing the insults. The DICE guys actually love IW. They where playing MW3 with Robert Bowling and vice versa lol
Doubt it, but what is possible and equally awesome is that XBLA games can be VERY easily ported to Windows 8.
All XBLA games are built using XNA and XNA games can be published to the Windows Store. So really all they would have to do to port a XBLA game is change up the UI a bit and add in some extra graphical options.
No LIVE is free on the PC already with GFWL. Microsoft quickly learned PC games do not want to pay for online and the payment model was quickly scrapped.
Yes and its a very good reaction, this move might push even more Steam support on PS3. Win-win for both sides really.

Actually what I see is annual Expansion packs for Battlefield 3 for at least 3 years and then releasing a "Complete Edition" for next generation consoles.
PC and mobile version of Live will remain free
