Definitely picking this up along with God of War III. I love the GoW style of gameplay and if a game has a good enough story along with it, it'll be a day one purchase too.

I paid 600 at launch for a 60 gig. Dropped it from a shelf a year later and broke it. Bought a new 80 gig for 400 and am still willing
to put some more money down on one of those sleek new slims. Hopefully around 200 to 250.
I wasn't ever into gaming until I played God of War, I became an instant gamer. And yes I have played games since the NES but I was never more passionate about gaming until the PS3.
I hope when you update your PS3 with this firmware and nothing important shows up you don't condemn the poor guy.
I mean he did clearly state that this update won't have anything important, but that 3.0 will. So when 3.0 comes and in-game voice chat isn't a new feature you have my permission to hang him by his big toe.
If 2.80 gives you a heart-attack imagine when 3.0 rolls around =0.
Actually we didn't get our hopes up because nobody knew about a firmware update until Super_Secret let us in on it and even then he clearly stated this update wasn't anything worth getting our hopes up for.
In fact he said firmware 3.0 will be the update to wait for, which will supposedly include in game voice chat over all games. I still won't get my hopes up for that but it is worth noting that he has some very good sources to know about the time of this update as well as its n...

I agree Killzone 2 graphics are not the best. Uncharted 2's graphics are but, Killzone is better looking than any 360 game currently out.
If Brink happens to outdo Killzone 2 in graphics, lighting and animations combined, then congratulations. You're finally able to see what it's like to own a PS3.

It's definitely using GoW's mechanics, but that is in no way a bad thing. I doubt even HHG would be stupid enough to say such a thing.
