The Nintendo DS changed gaming in alot of ways...and has been a huge success because of it. And did you just say you think motion sensing will be fun for 5 minutes??? but "when it's all said and done it's all speculation until it actually come out right?" im not here to flame but whether you like it or not the Wii will be a success and ppl are gonna like it.

honestly...i like all three new systems...but the wii stands out as being truly new. hopefully we can get away from just looking at graphics as game changing cause eventually were gonna come to an end with nowhere to go. i think everyone can agree that this is the first step to a new way of gaming...hopefully that everyone can enjoy :)

sony has received alot of negative energy lately with all of the "misconceptions" surrounding the ps3.This certainly isnt killing their fan base but its not making their fans all that happy either. and im not sure how they can handle the wii having 10 units on the market for every 1 of theirs...that plays a huge role in the events to come.
if theres one thing nintendo has gotten better at its marketing. the ds has broke sales records all over the world and now with the console version of the ds poised to come out im sure the public will just as eagerly flock to it as they did the ds

well after watching the video on ign today im sold...so many of those games just look plain awesome...and there are so many games set for the wii post release that i cannot wait for either...out of my group of 40 friends only one of them doesnt like SSBM...and im sure the new one will not disappoint...if anything there are ppl out there who will buy the wii for that game alone.
but im all for getting a wii...cheap and good game play. and by the way...alot of ppl are saying that they get tired playing this and get tired in 30 mins...my question is how over weight are you??? playing the wii doesnt look at all that strenuous and you shouldnt work up a sweat just by moving your arms alittle...and remeber that is alittle...you dont have to over-do your movements. just watch some of the videos posted on ign today...some ppl are barely moving while some (like myself) get v...
while the hardware does play an important part...its the games that truly make a system shine. while all 3 next gen systems have some promising games (Lair,GOW,TP)i have to say that so far the wii has the greatest number of games that come to mind that i really cannot wait to play...if that support keeps up the Wii could surprise alot of ppl and do alot better then expected.

you do make a good point about what ps3 is getting but youve missed some info. firstly regarding the make up to men...thats saying selling videogames to women is like selling make up to men...its a hard sell and thats the boundry the wii is hoping to break...i dont think wii's gonna have issues selling to avid gamers. secondly browse through the list and youll see that games like farcry and GTA are on there way to wii....Nov 19th i cant wait.

ppl need to remember that you do not need to flail around to use the wiimote...simple wrist flicks will get the job done but theres no prob standing up and really getting into it either. i just cant see how ppl will get tired using the wiimote...i think everyone here has good wrist muscles hahaha
