@ultra plus started of good as stated above but wasnt always good. Plus was new business for sony. XB LIVE is not new at all. They have been making revenue off of it for years so there is no reason the infancy of the concept to start slow. They just want too seem as if they match sony in features for as cheap as they can.

true but if you read through it they are planning a simultaneous release across all platforms including ps4 and xb1. they are putting that in as a disclaimer but I really dont see any way they would have a problem with sony on this game with all the indie love being thrown out. If they do delay it, wouldnt that hurt their chances with ms also? I fully expect it day one on all systems.
Ya thats what ive been saying. Ive been waiting for a game like this since like ps2. I hope the combat is deep and challenging but the clips of the combat look awesome. Its great to see how its almost at the goal after < 24 hours and big publishers said no one wants this game.
Ya reading though their blog you can see they are trying some very impressive stuff. They are taking the best part of every game as they said "We’re mixing the freedom and mechanics of Skyrim, the setting of Mount and Blade, the storytelling styles of The Witcher and Red Dead Redemption, and the tough combat dynamics of Dark Souls into a single, gorgeous package". I've been waiting for a game like this for years and im happy to see they are half way to the goal already.

Of coarse small player counts can be great. 1v1 and 3v3 stuff can be awesome, thats not the question. Thats trying to create a false arguement when thats not the entire problem. Just looking at titanfall everyone assumed it would be much higher. I think one team having say 2 titans and the other not, would just completely unbalance a 6 man team. Im sure they did their tests but i just hope 6 is a real choice and not a limitation.
your post is kind of confusing. Turtle Rock Studios is an independent developer so im not sure what you think indie means. This is a multiplier fps and youre going on about story and the origin of a monster, its a monster. If its not your thing, i get that, but the game sounds like its going to be good at what its trying to be, a multiplier pvp fps; not a story driven horror monster game.
i actually really like the idea of a 1 v 5. A lot of people have been wanting battles vs mosters and stuff that arent just even teams shooting eachother and dead space tried it, and it was cool at first but very unbalanced. 1 v 5 is a cool way of taking care of that.

I agree. I dont think the problem here is competition. Mlb 2k backed out because the show was that good. If the show starts to suck, someone will swoop in and try to take over. The potential for competition is still there. With madden they paid to get rid of competion which is different. Madden was the worse game. This has to suck for baseball fans on xbox though.
This game is actually really fun. It surprised me because i wasnt expecting really anything from the game after seeing the screen shots but its challenging and adictive. Im happy plus shows me this stuff because i wouldnt have bought it.
I never picked up the origional so after hearing how much everyone liked it ill get this. The regular version didnt come out too long ago. Its not like an hd remake or something. I dont see a reason for a reduced price.

If you mean a bluray player then i guess so. Or did you want the system to be as complicated as the Cell in the ps3 just because it sounds cool, because that didnt play out well for, you know, games.
