plenty of games like killzone have gotten free dlc. And those other games including killzone sf have received patches to improve the game and added features but ea still hasnt fixed the broken parts of the game that stopped a lot of people from playing the game.

@big_game_hunters The numbers are out there for you to look up. pcs do use a good amount more electricity but its not a HUGE cost. THe games are cheaper argument is old and done. Yes steam has sales, cool. But so doesnt every other retailer ever. The games you listed I also got with plus. Theres also gamefly and used games off ebay or amazon. Everyone can find deals and pc games retail at the same price as console games now.
I agree that its not just about the price. I game on a console because it is a gaming machine with a controler, os, and network all made for games. Sony also has some of the best studios working for them making exclusive games. Everything works on consoles. There are no pc issues or drm to worry about. @death streaming is a rental service. I get that you feel some need to "own" things for what ever reason, but thats not what streeming is for right now. If i can stream a game for a week and beat it then it just saved me a ton of money. Why would i care if i never owned it. I get games to play them and if now has it cheaper then good.

well on the blog it says that if you own the ps4 version you will get the vita version free. The vita version includes reign of giants built in. I could see why the author would assume, since it was cross buy and you would have reign of giants on the vita that you would on the ps4 for free too. Thats not necisarraly true because you are not getting the dlc to download on the vita, its a different version that has it built in. I dont see why getting that version would download a dlc on your ps...
It is obvious that games are "gimped" devs just might not consider it that because they made it for the lowest common denominator. If you have two versions of a game running almost identical to each other on hardware with different gpus and ram, its obvious. If both version were made to preform at their best on 2 different sets of hardware then there would be differences in the 2.
