Steam is fine but I would take psn/xbl over steam because their ui, parties, and updates are better. If you are referring to sales id take ebay/craigslist/gamefly over steam. Steam workshop for mod support is great though.

that half hour of pointless farming just to get 5 marks? do a tiger strike in 20 and youd get the same thing and, be able to actually PLAY the game. an hour of looting chests for acendant materials? Just do the daily story, a pubic event, or the raid. If you werent wasting all that time farming you would be getting more legendary equipment to scrap and get acendents. Marks and strange coins are easy to come by, farming for materials is just boring.

They are sending you a free copy of the game, for you to make money off of, so they can obviously set some conditions. The majority of big games have release day embargos just because it makes business sense for these high pre ordered games. Im sick of the conspiracies every time a game isnt good. Um, no, i never said it was bad. A twist at the end of the game just doesn't make a game great for me. A twist doesn't make me have more fun. Yes it was a cool twist, but not a great story. just because someone likes a game enough to replay it doesnt mean anything. I have gotten a ton of hours messing around in Infamous SS but that game is still short. Games like this should have way more content. Borderlands released with well over 100 missions. The game does lack content when you compare it to the other games like it.
That model works for a subscription game like wow, but destiny relies on dlc and game sales. Releasing a destiny 2 is the only way to spark sales. I would like it if they treat it as a huge expansion though and you can carry everything over seamlessly.
That just isnt true anymore. Pc gamers seem to think console gamers buy games through the systems store like they do. Amazon has sales on all games and i think most people got SOM for around 35. Gamefly is also a huge savings over any steam sales. Gaming pcs also use more electricity. Yes though, digital only indies drop price much faster on pc.
