The only reason anyone here, and everywhere, are using such words as "Millennial' 'Boomer' 'Gen X' etc, is due to the same ongoing-long legacy-media bash up that is article's like these. The main reason for this type of 'news' article is to create arguments, and generate clicks. Feel sorry for anyone that thinks that journalism these days will allow you (should you persue it) to express yourself without dictation from above you.

I believe the Elder Scrolls/Fallout/Soon-to-be Starfield fans are there in droves, waiting with baited breath. Wont matter about market, wont matter about fatigue of any kind. If they make it, they will come. I'm looking forward to it.

With zero cooling fans, I'd expect zero performance compared to the already established game stayers at this point. Good try though. Why would consumers bother?

Dev's need to get more employees on board to start cranking out some new games (sequels) in shorter time frames. Stop focusing on the past, and move for the future. Recycling the same crap over and over is starting to get a bit on the nose at this point. Considering the fiasco surrounding Gamestop in recent years, everyone doesn't realise what power is had in #'s to change everything, and vote with either our wallets, or our values and opinions

Killa, despite being optional, the grind has been enhanced (through nerfing win amounts), to force those that are susceptible to playing to win to spend the real world coin. Horrible concept in gaming, but a reality in this world we now live in. Quite sad.

@Lightning77, That hope of meaningful things to do, I'm With ya. Being a single player enthusiast, GTA 5, however detailed and awesome that map is (and it is), it was heavily underutilised for my liking.

It was always brilliant... to a degree (dependent solely on the eye of the beholder at release date). Hype killed it it, and they would have knowingly done this to pitch sales due to its 'too' early release. All they knew they had in December 2020, was a polished main story line that was complete from start to finish. Everything else was unpolished compared to most current open world games. Seems they'll take the 'No Man's Sky' approach to this game, but is everyone wi...

If everyone actually read the EULA on the vast majority of games, you'd realise you don't actually own it at all. All you have is access outside of subscription. Subscription is the way to go, as the companies will tell you, so you never own any of it, and only have access to it (especially with digital only platforms, and as long as you're paying) Slowly they have been trying to kill the second hand market with this, as they don't get a penny if you sell a game on to someone ...
