Not sure, I think it's the latter(the extremely difficult part). I remember at first being described as a Dark-Soul-sy type metroidvania. Can't remember if there were mentions of it being procedural generated.

Please do. You won't be sorry. Specially if you like/love any Ivalice Alliance game (FF Tactics, FF Tactics Advance, FFT A2, Vagrant Story). This is my favorite FF after 6 which I hold in an extremely high regard.

2 years ago, when hurricane Maria hit(I live in PR), I went for about 5 months without electricity(it was hell and boring too ) but the only console I could play was the switch(got to play the whole Mario Odyssey, Doom And Xenoblade and experience it completely portable).
