This was a great article, nice to have bit of lite hearted humour. I enjoyed it immensely. For those who were taken back by it read it more carefully.
Tick one up for PC.
@Reibooi ... Seems that you're the one making it complex. If you're not willing to learn that the square block doesn't go into the round hole then don't complain. Their is plenty of easy to follow information on the web on how to upgrade or build a computer, even videos for those slow readers.
To debunk the misinformation you're trying to give, the XPS 420 doesn't have a crossfire or SLI MBoard, doesn't have room for 8 sata drives, any modern "...
I like both PC gaming and Console gaming. I prefer PC for FPS as I haven't been able to adapt to playing them well with a controller, playing RTS and also as a workstation and I prefer console for kicking back on the couch in front of a big screen TV.
Also, people who find it too hard to put a computer together, I see there is some anger and I apologise for the missing warning label "Warning! Chocking Hazard! Contents contain small parts, not for idiots".
It would be like saying if God can do anything can God create a stone so heavy it cannot be lifted even by Himself or Chuck Norris?
Chuck Norris fighting to the death against an army of Ninjas defies all laws of reality.
HEY.... we were the first country to knowingly split the Atom. Which paved way to the Manhattan project and the creation of Nuclear weapons in an attempt get you to destroy yourself while we happily floated around in the ass end of nowhere. Don't fuck with us.
What if its Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd?
I didn't have a pit in my stomach... I was thinking fuck yeah!
Looking back it wasn't long ago that I was ranting about Steam as a DRM with the release of HL2 but now I couldn't feel different about the service it provides. Steam is completely convenient, typically cheaper and has really good backup features.
The only people who have a better service are pirates.
On a side note I think pirates will be the main reason, not of the death of PC games, but for a bigger move to game console platforms for major game pub...
Xulap and Esena are both right in a way. For people new to the PS3 arena and/or don't have any of the content offered, this is excellent value. As for others who already have some of the content or aren't interested in it won't.
The games are free to play as long as you pay for the subscription. Agreed, there is a subscription so you are indirectly/directly paying for all the goodies. However, this is no different to other marketing ploys like buy one get one free. You didn't get one free as you still had to buy one, the retailer makes their money and you get a better deal.
I think Sony have been up front with everything and still provide a good free service as far as free online services go.
Despite the encouragement of fan boy wars, this was a fair read.
I know right? If they didn't want you to they wouldn't have given us vibrating controllers.
I dunno, I keep thinking back to the "hi, im a wii" commercial http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Physical copies have resale value but digital is convenient, doesn't take up physical room and for me tends to be cheaper. I also like that all my games are all installed on my PC and I don't have to have the game disc to run.
@Nitro believing that physical is more secure is a misconception, with Steam only inactive accounts containing no games are deleted and once you purchase a game you can download it as many times as you like. I still have my game if my house bur...
I agree, the only issue with ME is that it was too short. This is totally a FPP and even for someone who likes the Prince of Persia series I wouldn't change the first person aspect of the game. I liked the immersion the game has in first person. Also as a comment to the nub Joey C (the writer) who probably reads walkthroughs, plays on ezy mode and needs QuestHelper when playing WoW... if you hold B (PS3 = Circle) the camera gets pointed in the direction you need to go.
When did Pedobear get a game?
Sure I love Portal and OMG11!!1 can't wait until Portal 2 in 2011, which I'm sure the news of turns other hardcore gamers into a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert. However, what about HL2? If we're talking about story and game play, it is the big Daddy to Portal if not the Big Mac Daddy.
I habZ World of Starcraft?
