I wouldn't want to stop playing yet another game from Valve... That's why Day of Defeat Source is great - they don't even bother to "fix" it anymore, and people play it for fun, not for hats or new content...
Realistic observation of the whole situation. But I feel that something is missing...
Game sux anyway. Gaider should go back to writing books, games are not meant to be linear. You need a GM to create fantasy world where anything is possible and available while you follow the internal rules. DA2 does not even have charisma/beuty/barter/etc. so all dialogs are just there for make up, so it would look like you are making a choice... in reality, it's almost the same whatever you click on.
I went back to Day of Defeat Source. No perks, no superhuman speed or health...
Too bad Enemy Territory is gone for good. Man, I loved that Siwa Oasis map.

Also, article suggests pitting players from different systems against each other, by using funboyism for something creative. It would be 'console wars MMO' :)

I expect the River of Time to be even better, because Witcher is borderland action game, while Drakensang is based on "Die Schwarze Auge" rpg table-top system, with massive lore and lots of followers.
