I tried o play Doom 3 around 4 times and I left it after an hour. This sums it up.
It is people who influence, nspire and slowly steer the quality of mainstream things. Look at music, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac were the kings before, now we have Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Gaming is no different, you want shit, than businesses and for the sake of profit give you exactly what you want. I have been gaming for 30 years the quality today is just that: shit.
successful does not mean one which made most money. The title is misleading. Successful means that it met its targets and delivered.

It is also hard to compare a game without actually playing it. I have a hunch that Dark/Demon Souls is still unbeatable. Capcom's last attempt was good, but not great, the souls series has been great from demon souls. We will have to wait and see.

The Wii was the market's first attempt at targeting the casuals with home consoles. And it worked well. Casuals though realized that they were not using the Wii much. Time Sega and Nintendo joined against Sony and MS. I do not want Nintendo to follow the path of Sega. A Sega Nintendo console with Sega Nintendo exclusives and multiplatform support means Sony and MS might start turning their pants brown. MS and Sony were doing Windows, Office and TVs when Sega and Nintendo were innovating with gaming hardware and software.
Ni No Kuni and Xenoblade are the best JRPGs. Xenoblade is better played on PC using Dolphin
This 190 USD APU performs well, but for that price (a bit less than 500), you might as well go console as it will perform better and has much more games.

Tried the demo, it did not have the magic of the first. But it is just a demo after all. I wasn't too impressed, but I am still willing to give the game a go.
