B/C no changes/innovation means you'll get slammed by certain reviews and kill your game.
I picked up LP1 shortly after launch and really enjoyed it. I'm hoping this clarity they are referring to is a simultaneous release for the game across all platforms, so I can get it day 1 on PS3, since i like trophies better.
Think you've nailed it. That sounds like the most logical reasons to announce over xbox live. Microsoft needed something big from xbox to be announced and this was a good opportunity even if it is a multiplatform game.

Ok i had never heard of madworld or conduit but just watched trailers and they actually do look pretty good. But no more heroes def not a game for me. Conduit kinda reminded me of left for dead, which woulda been better on the wii imho
Would be nice but I'd be surprised if we get any of those titles in 2009.

I'd be nice to have an extra $10 off new games, but to be honest i don't think it would change how many games i buy. I mean once you are up to $50 for a game is another 10 really gonna break you? if so you probably shouldn't spend the money on a game anyway. If the extra $10 makes the developers stay in business and continue to being better games in the future then keep the prices where they are at. I'm more concerned with the IGN sales predictions stated here. KZ2 and GOW III only 800,000 copies? ODST only 700K? Maybe they are just talking about North America. At least i hope so.
I bought a PSP for GOW: Chains of Olympus, and a 360 just for gears. Now that's not the only games i ended up playing on the systems but they were what justified the purchase.

But never cared to much for playing it split screen. Seemed to cut off too much viewing area, especially when in a warhawk. But definitely one of my favorite games this gen.
You can't play the main single player campaign split screen but you can via the online co-op and competitive modes.

I got this game for Christmas but I've been waiting for this patch to even try it, because i wanted to have a good chance of liking it. Never played any Socom's before.
But didn't care for it. maybe i should try the retail game or something since I'm the only one that didn't like it.
