I hope this secretive strategy is not just to avoid saying all big titles won't be avaible for the holidays. A lot of people are waiting for thoses, they might buy a PS3 thinking that thoses gaming are at the door, they might wait even more if we are facing 2008 release dates.
Kind of sad but that would be because the during the same day (Today):
- My PS3 died on me and now I have to hope Sony's customer service is good
- I saw thoses numbers. And its quite hard to twist them in a positive light when you think best ps3 software sale (MLB) are 1/9 of best of either best wii software sale (MP8) or 360 software (Forza)

Forza deserve first place.
At lot of people (including you ?, I can't check all your comments you have too many) said that, that the wii was a gimmick and it would only last a short time.
So back at launch they said give it a month and it will start collecting dust on the shelves.
Then it was give it two months..

Well 99 % of the gaming community know that video game piracy is related to gaming for various reasons (Force the introduction of a new format, a hardware/firmware revision like on the PSP or the Wii, cause developpers to loose money, and so on).

So what ? Price will go down. You can also buy burned BR from one guy that bought the recorder and is making a living out of selling "backups". And don't forget that you might be able to play games from the hard drive like on the first xbox (with amodchip).
