I was afraid that my data could be corrupted any minute. I hope the patch is released soon. If it can be backed up, than I guess it's not locked to a specific system, which is a good thing. I hate it when they lock the saves to a system. Recently I upgraded to a new PS3 and couldn't get some of the saves from my old system due to them being locked.
some of the puzzles are just too darn long that they feel like chores. Some of them are just too far spread out and requires you to run around a lot that it gets boring. Right now I'm at the Fairy puzzle and it's taking me quite some time to figure it out, I don't want to use the solution option, takes away the reward.
The control have issues too, especially with climbing. But what I don't get is, if this guy has such a useful whip that he uses for climbing, w...
come on! This new date better be within this year, perhaps by Christmas.
but I'm afraid if I get this another good one would drop in price. I currently have a Sapphire 4830, looking to upgrade for no more than $150. Suggestions?
but back in the day, it was considered a creepy game. At least it had more of rich story telling narrative than RE. If you have read Poe and Lovecraft, you would know what I'm talking about.
I just don't see why people don't give AITD enough credit, one mention of it being 'grandfather of survival horror' and that's it. No account of what it actually was. I'd say people are really ignoring it's influence on video gaming history in terms of horr...
it certainly had a eerie atmosphere I must give it that. But RE-5, though a good game, didn't feel much like horror in any respect. I wish they would go back to its roots with a new one.
but it was most definitely Alone In The Dark that started the 3D survival-horror video game genre with its weird-Lovecraftanian story and eerie settings. As much I like RE, I do like to give the credit where its due. I mean why wouldn't you classify it as a first true survival horror game? There was a health meter, first-aids, and guns/swords in a 3D environment. Although, there have been many other survival-horror games before it, but I'm taking about 3D games.
I too have suffered this 3 times already, even though I took very good care of it. I vacuumed it once or twice a month, kept it clean, and used it for no more than 3-hours per day (average). Finally got a slim, because I had enough. The fat is just sitting in my other room. Rather than getting a temporary heat-gun fix, I plan on getting it reballed so I can at least get my data off of it and use it strictly as a movie player.
jailbreaking a PS3. It already is a great device as a gaming machine, movie and music player, and a web-browser. Then why not just stay legit?
give us better PSX games. We have received all PSX Resident Evils but we're short one Dino Crisis game. Release the second one already.
Similar to my reaction, with the exception of my jaw dropped.
Yes I'll always voice my opinion on releasing more Dino Crisis as it was my first PlayStation experience. That series was good until it hit 3. But it has potential as we never got to find about Regina's mission to get Dylan back. Capcom, please give us another Dino Crisis.
O who am I kidding. Capcom don't want to revisit their classic franchises.
I hope it's not exclusive to PSN+ users. I can't wait for this.
I mean Kratos + MK = Awesome.
It has a certain mystique to it, unique charm that differentiates it from the other two. Furthermore soundtrack is much more appropriately placed. I honestly believe this game deserves a current-gen makeover.
So if Steam shuts down, my games are useless!!? I hope Steam guys have a backup plan, say even if this does happen, they can send out some sort of a code or patch so games can play without signing in.
but here in Canada, Amazon barely has any deals up or matches discounts offered by US outlet. If its the same owner, why can't they offer the same deals to us up here?
It's a real pain to maneuver about them. Anyways, I hope Dracula makes an appearance. I'm really looking forward to it, I bet that figure hiding in the shadows is Dracula. You know the one shown in the preview, we only get to see his hands and some chest area.
This series portrayed vampires quite wonderfully. I am especially fond of the dialogue, in most cases it was very well written, as if something out of the early 20th or late 19th century book. I would say just remake it, as continuing it might damper its story. But then again, changing it may ruin it altogether.
