every game is made with sequels in mind it wouldn't make much sense to spend all that time and money on one game also just about every game has and ending that leaves thing open to the possibility of a sequel

800 pound gorilla lol there were 2 halo games at this e3 and uncharted 2 still won most of the awards i guess that means uncharted 2 is the 1601 pound gorilla in the room
there are more sequels to those games per year because this gen just started while the other gens have about 8 years under their belt there has been a halo released on the 360 almost annually and this gen is suppose to be a 10 year gen so expect more then 4 halos(deny halo wars all you want its part of the franchise)
