I played the beta on PS3 it runs well, the controls are good but it doesn't obliviously run as well as PC since the PS3 is old tech and has little ram etc.
If you can't run it on PC, PS3 is a fine alternative and then the PS4 will probably be PC level

Looks like they underestimated the demand at launch, not a bad thing really.
I think GW2 did the same thing, every mmo has issues at launch it's not uncommon.

Well deserved IMO, I wont get to play until Monday myself (work) but I really enjoyed Beta 4.
The best thing is they don't make you pay £40/50 for the box and then the monthly fee, I got mine for £13 on Shopto before the raised it to £15 and IMO more MMO's with a sub should follow this route, you look at ESO which is going to have a monthly fee and item shop and the box is still $60.
Glad I got mine ordered in June
both offer different experiences and i'm looking forward to getting both on launch day.

I don't know TLOU and Uncharted both had amazing lengthy campaigns and the online wasn't too bad either.
Micrsofot only did a flip because of poor pre-orders, nothing more and nothing less. They didn't care about consumer wants they just care about making the $$$.

well if it's locked at 30 that's fine by me, would rather have that than 60FPS which dips constantly.

Don't see why not, Planetside 2 is a shining example of a game that could be a huge hit with console gamers, granted it's only PS4 but if any game can do it and prove it works I think that will.

sure if the stuff is cosmetic that's ok but you can bet those 'sevices' will be things like exp boosts, bank slots etc etc
God no i like buttons not touch controls, the ds offers a perfect balance.
