I don’t think 505 Games wants to spend the extra money on dual layer blue rays , I never really heard of any developer using them anyway. Idk I’m going to guess maybe like the article says PS5 just has a better decompressing process and can fit more into a smaller space.
That’s still a 505 games issue on how they decide to distribute and package the game you can’t blame Microsoft. So far I only heard of Control having this issue
@Nexus I’m with you on that , I just recently bought Control since I caught it on sale .. Now I feel like I should of waited to get all the DLC plus the next gen version. I feel cheated , one thing for sure I’m not upgrading.
I mean why are people blaming Microsoft ??? They aren’t the ones who make and distribute Control. I’m guessing the one time online thing is to download the rest of the game since all of it couldn’t fit on one disc. Use common sense guys it’s like buying a game and having to download a day one patch that’s all. The disc can be resold I’m quite sure it’s not locked to an account or system.
You won’t notice it , it’s the UI you’ll spend every bit of 2 minutes looking at it.
A 4K UI is a waste of resources , what’s the point of wasting ram on the UI. Giving now the series x might have a extra gig of ram over the PS5 , giving the advantages every where else
It’s 1080p on the Series S not X , if your going to o spread info make sure it’s correct. But what’s funny if the Series X was to run it at 1080p , what do you think the PS5 resolution would be ???

Ok I feel you on that I definitely agree , Demon Souls looks amazing. I wish people will realize it’s not just about numbers but what’s going on during gameplay.

I also think ppl are forgetting it’s not just about resolution. It’s other graphical effects they might of added over last gen , it’s pretty much a repeat of what happened in the beginning of this gen.
I hope everybody have that same logic when it’s revealed PS5 resolution is going to be somewhere in the middle. It’s clearly a developer issue not a console issue.
They should of did a patch for the upgraded consoles. Dying Light is a good looking game but it has it’s roughness , would of been nice to see it in 4K.
I get his point but gamepass works for me for the simple fact I can get the chance to play games I wouldn’t be able to otherwise , it’s gives me the option to discover new games without risking losing money if the game is bad.
I mean it’s the truth though , only big insomniac game Xbox had was Sunset Overdrive. Other then that majority of insomniac games were exclusive to PlayStation.
You can’t blame Microsoft for pushing any of that , it was going to happen if MS planned a hand or not. Does Sony and Nintendo offer everything you mentioned ?? It’s called advances in technology, you may not want it but other people might. Call it what you want gamepass is a great option to have, I can play so many games I wouldn’t otherwise because I don’t have to risk losing any money.
I’m mad at the fact anything Microsoft does it’s always a doom or gloom story. The way Bethesda was going they needed a buy out or they possibly would be next to go under. Ppl acting like Sony can’t do no wrong ,
But aren’t there PS5 exclusives that are going to PC as well so wouldn’t that be both ways ??? Go luck building a PC with the same performance at $499, I know for a fact it’s impossible.
