Lol Sony couldn’t afford to buy Bethesda let alone Activision even if they really really really wanted to .. but didn’t they just Purchase Bungie ??
I’m confused is it Phil Spencer putting out this news or people interviewing and asking these questions then putting them out .. how is that desperate ???
@Sonic I don’t see how it’s getting pretty exciting to me .. a few games I wanted to buy ended up on the service , as well as quite a few I wanted to try. Maybe it’s getting stale for you but not for everybody else.
@blacktar yeah I know right the best story ever can be turned into a series … lol
@shinoff on Xbox I don’t have to hookup nothing extra bro miss me with that one lol … I should be able to pull the system out the box and just play , and yes anti consumer when you have to pay again for stuff you already own , when the other side is doing the same things for no extra cost …
They sell because of gamers like you , regardless of Sonys approach to customer service this gen is very “anti consumer” to me .. On Xbox side at lease I don’t have to double dip into things I already purchased , giving the library of games I have for my PS2 and PS3 I can’t just transfer over to my PS5. Everything I bought for my Xbox One works perfectly only my Series X I can’t say the day for Sony. When it comes to choices to how I want to play , I can either play on PC , Xbox , My phone , ...
I don’t understand the hate for gamepass when Sony is implementing the same kind of service , I definitely agree Microsoft needs to do better in the AAA department. I also love the fact they are giving you choices and an easy way to get into the ecosystem , matter of fact just gaming in general. Maybe this is just how the developer feels given they know it would get a audience because it literally not lose to the customer to give it a try , ppl can choose to purchase it from that point on. I ...
@flawless I don’t think they purposely lost billions of dollars , I just think the rush to the market made them make some fatal design choices which was fixed in later revisions. The Combo of the Cell and Blu-ray is what gave the PS3 its amazing games , Blu-ray was the saving grace honestly. Having that disk space they was able to pack so many asset onto a disc. MGS 4 used up 50GB of space
That just wasn’t because of the architecture , it was the only console on the market at the time that had the disc space to make those games .. Going with Blu-ray was a big bet that paid off , I remember in MGS 4 it was a in game joke that pointed that out. Even when it came down to some multiplats games like FF13 and Castlevania LOS was multiple disk ,
That joy of owning all three , Sony always deliver on the first party games and Microsoft been great with game pass .. I’m just happy gaming market is very healthy , now just waiting for this cross gen period to end.
I mean it’s seems like a bunch of AAA games to me plus indies …
https://www.theloadout.com/...
A bunch of games I haven’t even played before , some of those once PS exclusives in there to .. So suddenly those games are garbage , y’all gave nothing bus praise to Persona 5 and I get to enjoy that for free while you had to dish out $60 or $70.
@Crows90 and exactly how is the competition going ?? One is gaining subscribers while another is losing theirs. I’m very confused on the competition part.
Do any of you even have gamepass to know what’s on there ?? It’s a serious question. Because if you think only Plaque Tales and a few indie games are the only games on there you are hugely mistaken.
@talocaca Some of those I can play on PC to
@behindtherows lol what ?? I don’t understand your second paragraph I’m confused … and what has been irrelevant since the first Xbox ???
@Crow let’s be real those quality games you speak of is very subjective .. like I said I game on all three machines , Sony only released 3 first party games this year 1 being 2 gens old at this point …
I ain’t going to lie playas mess up all the time , idk why I had $300 million in my mind … I don’t have allegiance to any box , I’m gaming on all 3 so I want all of them to succeed. Let’s be real Sony cannot make the same purchase Microsoft can even if they really wanted to. Activision and Bethesda both had price tags on them that Sony just simply couldn’t afford. They can’t spend $60 billion that’s more than what they have in total equity , and an operating budget of only $9 billion … which ...
You can tell who’s actually subscribed to the service and who’s not .. People act like just because those games are on the service you can’t buy them when in fact you can , sometimes at a slight or big discount. The games that I played on the service that I liked I purchased , the ones I didn’t like at lease I got to try it before wasting money.
I mean Activision is entire company with multiple studios under its umbrella , while Insomniac is only one studio. Sony can’t even afford to spend $1 billion on a studio , Sony can’t make the same acquisitions even if they wanted to. Activision snd Bethesda had a price tag can’t be mad at Microsoft because they can afford to spend the cash.
Jokes on you though , the cloud very much works like promised .. Playing games on my Series X from where ever I’m at is fantastic I mean you would have to own a Xbox to know .. Yeah Crackdown was trash though I give you that though lol
