Well until we see even high end GPUs that can do 4k at decent framerates, I don't think it's worth it anyway.
Hell even the GTX Titan scuffles with 4k without at least a 2x SLI on games like Crysis 3 with barely 60fps, and those are $1000 a pop!
Until a high range GPU can handle 4k on more demanding games singlehandedly, I say it's nothing more than a gimmick that won't do much to improve the gaming experiences.

Honestly, I stopped reading after the first paragraph.
It just seemed like a bunch of random bitching how the "old school" was better. I like older titles too, but if you don't like current games, just don't play them.

It's probably because Capcom isn't a PC dev first like most devs are nowadays.
The PC architecture just might be that foreign to them as they're so used to deving for consoles first.

1. No not true. It won't be "600 million users" as you say, it'll be just the ones who have powerful enough rigs to run the latest games and it wouldn't be that many.
2. Actually it would probably allow for LESS revenue as most PC games barely crack 1 million in sales save for a handfull of franchises, so many games would fail to make a profit even with that.

I agree that they're getting way too much hate based off of a few glitches. Had they delayed BF4 to fix them, I imagine they would have heard screams even louder how they suck and "ruined the franchise" by not going against CoD this holiday season, so it appears they just can't win.
