what I find funny is the disagrees. Did this site all of a sudden went from being full of Sony fanboys to Xbox fanboys? I mean... The PS4 still has better GPU, better ram and rumors says that even the frequency on the CPU is higher too.

do you realize the reason many people are hyping up this game it's because it has summons, towns, side-quest, airships and even a world map too? Just in the beginning of the new trailer you can see Leviathan!
And of-course there will be chocobos too... On this same article he says that the battle system might be action based but that many old-school elements will make a comeback.
even then, 3.5 Gigs of ram dedicated to that stuff is still overkill. I mean, you can do soooo much with only 2GB of ram on Windows 7-8 with its crazy overheads you know. You can watch an HD movie, surf the Internet and download updates all at the same time and you still would have tons of unused ram left. And believe me, right now I'm on a freaking netbook with Windows 7 and only 1GB of ram watching 2 TwitchTV streams, writing this comment here and still have 300MB of Ram left.

if it weren't for the specs these consoles would be just another PS3 and X360 in a different box but with a bigger price tag.
Go play Snes and PS2 for the rest of your life if you only care about games and not specs then. Because these 2 consoles have the best and most varied library of games ever and I doubt you have even played 50% of the games released on those.

I do some multitasking on my netbook with only 1GB of ram so why would a console need 3GB even when its OS has even less overheads than Windows 7-8?
I am paying $400 for the PS4 to play games and I want them to look at its best and not be gimped for the sake of some crappy useless APPs on a console. Is not like I'd be playing a game while watching Netflix at the same time you know....

you know this generation's JRPG support on consoles is weak when an average franchise like Tales of series is considered one of the best current JRPG series.
can you link to any of that? The only developer that has said how much ram his game is using was Blow, and he said his game was using 5GB's of it.
