Haven't you ever heard about something called: Local Area Network, LAN? You don't even need internet for that. And depending on your router it can have a bandwidth from 50MB to 300MB per second or maybe even more.
The problem would be when streaming from outside the LAN because not everybody has fast internet connections. In fact, mine is only 4MB and I pay $65 for it....
