Yes, it actually does, and I'm amazed by it, I thought this game was broken beyond repair, but the community and their persistence to fix the sh!t storm Crytek created is nothing but admirable.
I used to get 20-28 fps before I installed this beauty, now it's a constant 45-50, using 8800gt, dual-core, give it a shot, it's only 13 megs.
Ya, bubbles, that was a good summary.
*Yawn* yeah I'm shocked and amazed aha..
When will they EVER learn.
Damn, how did this turn from "Blizzard: PC Gaming's not declining" to Civilization Review?
Heh, only on N4G.
Yeah, when you have 10 million regular customers who pay a 140.000.000 $ monthly fee, 'declining' ain't exactly what comes to mind, after all, Blizzard can't sh!t in the same place they eat.
The pic's EPIC, those two seem to enjoy their time 'connecting' lol.
So much for a decade in the making.
Them making Warhead run better than the first one is a slap to everyone who bought Crysis, that means:
1- They admit Crysis' not optimized, but since Warhead runs on the same engine, with everything cut and pasted, they just don't give a damn about finishing what they started with patch 1.3.
2- They could release a patch to make it work just as good as Warhead, but they wont.
3- They don't give a $h!t about their fans, if you want your patches, performance then bu...
Of course they're having development problems, they're milking it on almost everything except maybe the SNES! and who's decision was it to scrap MP from PS360 in favor of the WII, also, no PC version? is this a joke?
Still anticipating it though, but they should'a focused more on Next-Gen hardware, that way this would have released a year ago.
and counting.
I am against Too Human's concept all together, with the development time SK had for this flop-in-the-making, they could'a made 2-3 games at the time, what's it been, a decade in the making? with EVERY-SINGLE-PREVIEW stating this game ain't nothing but a complete mess.
Shame, SK's been in my book ever since Eternal Darkness, had to confine'em selves with this tanker.
We don't do 'o u t s i d e', that's bad voodoo.
It's a shame Halo went downhill after Combat Evolved, which set new standards at the time for FPS, regenerating health system, 2 slots for weapons invokes strategic planning, vehicles..etc.
With that being said, Resistance 2: United we Fall, for FPS GOTY '08.
Doesn't matter whether you debate that cut scenes should be part of the gameplay as a whole or not, or should be counted as total gameplay hours.
MGS is a wonderful experience that won't be complete without the amazing cut scenes or the fun gameplay, combine those two in one game and you've perfection, that's what mainly separates MGS from the clones, the degree of care and dedication put into it by Kojima and his crew.
Act4, Twin Suns, heading back to Shadow Moses and remembering Snake's youth brought tears to my eyes ):
This game is F'ing pure perfection!
I have never seen a more unprofessional review from gametrailers as this one, they haven's even mentioned MGO even though it's a major component of the same game/same disc, and an outstanding one, Halo3's VR concentrated more on MP and yet it got 9.5 in story, and to give 8.7 to the story while Halo3 gets 9.5 is nothing but another nail to GT's credibility coffin.
You know, the more unjust reviews, criticism and fanboyistic remarks the PS3 receives, the more i fall in love with t...
When Anti-Aliasing is implemented, look at COD4, not HD, couple'a AA, best graphics of '07.
Halo3, not HD, no AA, looks like sh!t.
Pass.
Then it's safe to say it won't receive the same attention to detail to the point of perfection the 4th one had.
A custom directory, you'd have to manually locate it via the installer, quite easy, it goes like this:
C/D:Program files/Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis.
I cannot recommend this mod highly enough, it's amazing, I tried almost every tweak before this, Lexus Silentum and XConfig, didn't work, but this one, leaps and bounds in term of performance gain, same high quality graphics with major performance boost, what more can you ask for?
Now there's no ne...
