People that are complaining about the pricing: You can get the season pass right now for 23 bucks if you use green man gaming's coupon. Great deal at that price. Don't go and buy this for 30 or 50. I remember I got the base game originally from there for 45.
This is a stupid piece.. everyone knows they design for the lowest hardware first so it will be equal on all platforms. The sad fact is X1 has had a hard time keeping up even then. If they designed games for ps4 in mind X1 would run at like 20 fps on everything.
everyone should just play this on an emulator I did that the other day at full 1080p and it looks exactly the same. Neither version has widescreen support ..so save yourself the money and you could be playing it right now.

This still looks exactly like the sims 3 to me, how would you NOT upgrade the graphics at all over 3 versions of the game.

I'm holding out for the 20nn ones that are coming the following year. I hear apparently there is a much higher bump more like 40 % or something in performance. I bet these will be that big a jump but time will tell when the benches release.

Play Fallout 3 and New vegas on PC man. They should run on most PCs out and the textures will be nice and upgraded.. plus there is a lot of mods for them.

I got to play this at gamestop expo 2013 and while that was a long time ago and much might have been changed. I was not impressed at all with the graphics or the gameplay nor was anyone at the event, everyone was off playing other games. From what I see in the new screens it looks like the graphics have really been cleaned up. Lets just hope it stays that way and isn't a big surprise let down.

That was actually an in-engine video not real gameplay. They said it was representative of the final game. I would hold off till you see REAL gameplay before everyone gets super excited. That said I love Metro so I am sure the final game will be great.
