The Frostbite Engine needs a good overhaul.
BFV has tons of Bugs and performance problems in area's.
Anthem as a game wasn't a bad idea, just too many problems and loading loading loading, BFV takes ages to go back to main menu as well. same engine.
I have Rage 2 and yes it's open world, but there are enemies elsewhere, not on dg scale, but some are about. The gunplay is fantastic and the graphics are sweet in places. lighting is what does it.
On topic. The problem is having a cohesive story to play through will exploring and not many games does this well.
Witcher 3 pulled this off completely for me and I always enjoyed where the game took you.

Zombies look good and such, but I think it's the characters that have to gel with you.
Graphics look good and it's running on Unreal 4.

As for hardware.
Nobody really knows the clockspeeds, the bandwidth of the memory or how much. The Navi GPU is custom. There is so much that nobody knows.

Uncharted never copied Tomb Raider in any shape or form.
Uncharted is more focused on Story, Combat and is generally more linear. Drake is more indiana jones type affair.
The original Tomb Raiders had puzzles, tombs and were fun while challenging in some respects. The first 3 in the series were better then all the rest. The graphics got better, but the game did not.

I'm enjoying BFV Multiplayer and the new battle royale mode is decent and I enjoyed the SP player missions lol.
But many games get boring when it's just canon fodder enemies and no decent story.
I would love something gritty like a KZ2 remake.

Truthfully no reason why this game shouldn't be 60fps on every console. Granted it's a decent looking game. But it's not doing anything special imo. Frame pacing has never been sorted out and I love bloodborne. But the Engine needs a top western team to dig through the code and optimize it.
It's a pointless feature tbh.
