They will connect to eachother, but because xboxone has more power, it will try to dominate the cablebox. But to fight back, cable box will stop xboxone from connecting to some channels. All of a sudden the cable box will say the words, switch off xboxone and it will.

Why would you call that reveal a great day for gaming?
Most of what was shown is TV type stuff, multitasking will be in both consoles, both able to d/l while watching or doing other things, both can use voice activation etc. camera's.
Those things have nothing to do with gaming.
