I Think that a better question is: Are bad games ruining PS Plus. I don't think that the fact that they are Indie is the problem, it is more the fact that some of them are just not fun games. Some of the Indie games given away are GREAT, additionally, some of the AAA ps3 games given away are BORING. It feels to me like if nothing else, there could be some better quality control on PS Plus
