The vita version seems right for me, being able to put the system to sleep and pick up where I left off is the best thing about handhelds.
Yeah I agree that the PSP is far from being a failed console, had so many good games with great graphics. I spent countless hours playing some great RPGs on the PSP.
I like Joel and Ellie a lot as characters and would love for them to be playable in dlc....it would suck if we never see them again.
All I know is that vanillaware makes great games, so I can't wait to grab this.
I would love if deep down is an exclusive, I want to see it take advantage of the ps4 and produce amazing graphics. Multiplatform games are usually scaled down to look even among two consoles.
I can understand developers wanting people to play the games they make for a long time and adding multiplayer does that, but I don't trade in great games I played since I want to revisit them.
I bought a ps2 early on as well and played so many great games, a time where being connected to the internet didn't matter...good times
That would be great if Microsoft did that, it would bring the price down and it wouldn't force kinect on anyone. Although it would make Microsoft look like they have no idea what they're doing with the X1 since they are going back on everything that was supposed to make the X1 "stand out" from its competitors.
And then you have developers wondering why games they make don't sell on the Wii u....well because you guys pull sh** like this.
So the vita is dead? If that were the case then it wouldnt be selling at all, sure its not doing 3ds numbers but it did place second in japan according to the media create charts. It still sells about 30-40,000 a week worldwide... but if thats something you call "has no life" then whatever.
I always think of the ps2 when ever I see the ps4. Keep the momentum going sony.
A price cut or maybe a model with more memory( at least 160gb) or a mix of both. Looking at the ps4 being 50$ more than the deluxe with a 500gb Hdd kind of makes it feel as a ripoff, although the tablet controller is probably expensive to make. I see a lot of potential with the wii u and I want it to be really successful!
They should just go all out and work on many franchises. Bring back Jak, make Uncharted 4, the last of us sequel(even though it ended without the need for a sequel,but ellie and joel are just that awesome) and I would love to see 2 new ips from them like they did with the ps3. I cant wait to see how they will blow us away with the ps4!
So this device was supposedly going to "kill the vita" according to all the vita haters.
Im pretty sure it has already learned from the past games since its going to release this fall/holidays with the ps4.

Something just doesn't feel right about kh3 on X1, would of predicted ps4 and Wii u but not X1. Well more people get to play it now.
I loved muramasa and this game looks just as awesome, going to grab the vita version!
I had a Wii u and I can say its a very well designed console, and playing Mario on the screen and TV at the same time was cool. Although I ended up retuning it since IMO 32gb at 350$ doesn't seem worth it, they need more memory since I don't want to spend more money on an external HDD.
The best option is too put the Jak franchise in the hands of another capable developer.
