They are really artificially trying to get people into this game. I love the gameplay but I hate their version of mmo leveling etc
If you look closely, the shadows don't mimic the position of the shadows of the real player. It can be a simple algorithm that generates a shadow a certain distance from the object, with no discern over location of floor or walls
What compromises? I actually liked it, but I've also abandoned Halo multiplayer long ago, so maybe that is where the changes took place?
It's the old "it's only bad when it's Microsoft" mentality. Sony is a genius, Microsoft is the devil.
Honestly though, locking up street fighter is a brilliant move. All these lesser fighting games, not so much.
Wasting money on living up exclusives on a dying genre, yeah I think it's a waste. Sony had a lot of gray first party exclusives, and I'd hate to see them make the mistake that Microsoft made last gen by ignoring their first party ips and allowing developers to reestablish a franchise on their dime, only to go multi platform on the sequel
I think the mistake Sony is making is buying TOO MANY different fighting game exclusives. Saturates the market. It's the same argument for why Sony fans didn't want Tomb Raider, because they already have Uncharted.
In any case, Street Fighter despite being past is prime is a fantastic exclusive!
Looks like the answer to Counterstrike: Source that I've been waiting for!!
An entire article again about file size. Terrific.
They didn't really fix it. They turned your level number into a meaningless number that doesn't matter. You can artificially raise up to level 40 while still waiting for the drops and light levels that you were waiting for before the update anyway...
Just give me cops vs robbers already! That was the best mode in GTA 4
You know, that made me think. I don't think the Japanese have comedians. All of their comedy is upskirt, perverted or just a guy getting hit in the balls.
Do articles about file size actually matter to anyone?
The gameplay is fun, standard halo fare. The RPG mmo elements are garbage and needed to be totally redone. This game could suffer and flop on a sequel based heavily on missteps made for the original.
PS I think it makes sense to own both, best of both worlds
I have had an Xbox One since launch, and I bought the PS4 when Second Son came out. Honestly, I think the graphics comparisons are ridiculous, as I have 20/10 and 20/5 vision respectively from left to right and on a 60" 1080p and a 75" 4k tv in don't see much difference in the resolutions. It breaks down to slightly more jaggy edges, but the jaggies have better frame rates.
I still think the whole console war has gotten quite overblown, but perhaps it's just...
And next generation, I'm willing to bet that Microsoft throws so much money at their machine to ensure a victory. Basically the next generation is going to be a huge deciding factor for Sony. They can't afford to lose, and the expense will be much higher. I suspect they won't be able to afford to compete, but I'm actually going this generation is a short one because I'm not keen on the power of either of these systems.
I'm hoping 4 more years o and we ...
Jesus Christ people. They are trying to show you how inhumane the slave traders were. If it upset you, then mission accomplished. The game itself is designed to get you to sympathize for the slaves. Leaving in the line that "slave traders stacked the slaves to fit as many people as they could" shouldn't upset people, this was our history! I'm sorry if it upsets you guys, but this really happened! Taking people our history is a good thing and I don't like censoring it. Tr...
The menu system? What about the new passing system, the new catching options, the improved gameplay. Whoever wrote this just wants clicks, and isn't very concerned with their writing ability.
PS3 caught up in sales for consoles, but the attach rate was way lower. Xbox still sells more games per console. I chalk that up to either fan loyalty, or just more appealing game selection. In either case it's an interesting point to observe.
The thing I don't understand is it uses the same engine that Battlefield 4 uses abd that game was 900/1080p with a fantasy advantage on Xbox One. Are developers tweaking in favor of marketing rights, or did they somehow screw things up?
