Nitendo is making PUREEEEEEEEEEE profit since the n64 days they've not sold at a loss or i believe been in the red in a long time, they could easily channel some of those funds into geting as many Wii's made into the channel and then releaseing them so the people that want one can get one, Its been a year since the release of the Wii and its still in shortage? *shakes head*

few problems with that article...I do not believe there is a single 720I tv on the market.
And they didn't give you much of any information that most users dont all ready know they give you the basics...nothing on the econmics...Like how a good 99% of tvs below 40 inches will not have 1080p with LCD tvs if you get anything below 40 inches your locked into 720p resolution no 1080i or 1080p for that matter..

Actually infact your wrong, Even before 51 gig hd dvd 7.1 was possible, on 50 gig blu ray its possible, no need for 200 gig hell they'd be able to put 51.1 surround sound and have space left on it....dont be so foolish.

Fact-
There is no difference between HD DVD and Blu-ray in any way.
Audio? was remidied once 51gig hd dvd was ratified before it the only difference was.....uncompressed audio which was in affect only because of the 50 gig structure of blu ray, now that 51 gig is available for all studios to use that uncompressed audio is no longer an advantage because hd dvd can use it too.
Edit:yep a disagree with a fact, Uncompressed audio wasn't capable on blu ray bec...
not with all the crap their doing now including dicontinueing the 80 gig and keeping the 40 gig as their only system.....
